Formed in 2012, PIE: The Music of Cake is an all-star tribute, nay experience, dedicated to painstakingly recreating note for note, and vibraslap for vibraslap, songs spanning the 28-year discography of the Sacramento cult phenom; Cake. From the hits "Short Skirt Long Jacket" and "Stickshifts and Safety Belts" to deep cuts "Pentagram" and "Sheep go to Heaven", these pastry heads go all in for authenticity, sparing no expense, or baking (always cake on set break). Vince Di Fiore from CAKE has officially endorsed PIE and the hope remains that, one day, the two crusty collections will indeed meet.
