Anton Tymoshenko is one of the most prominent Ukrainian stand-up comedians. He graduated from the philosophy faculty, where he wrote a thesis on how humor contextualizes political discourse. He is a resident of "Underground Stand-Up" - Ukraine's largest stand-up project.
Anton Tymoshenko became the first Ukrainian stand-up comedian to fill the largest concert venue in Kyiv and Ukraine - the Palace "Ukraine".
Even before the war, Anton became known to audiences for his political stand-up. After the start of full-scale invasion, Anton aimed at an international audience, recording two 15-minute videos in English to draw attention to the war and raise funds for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. His performances became not only informational but also an attempt to enter a new market. Foreign media reached out to Tymoshenko for interviews, including David Letterman.
In May-June 2024, Anton will embark on his first charity tour of North America, for which he is writing a new program. It will be about corruption, Work & Travel, machine uprising, economy, empathy in war, and drugs, so the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) might provide security. The tour has a serious charitable mission - all 100% of the proceeds will be directed to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces, so we invite everyone to the concerts!
