Musical Notes & Lunch Totes is our summer concert series sponsored by the West End Biz. Shows take place on Mondays from 12-1pm at Saigon Park.
Ivy Venin is an indigenous, singer-songwriter with her own sound, voice, style, and perspective. She describes her music as alternative, folk, punk, rock. You can tell from the vulnerability and directness of her lyrics that she has writes from the heart, but mostly the dark side, where all the anger and sadness lives. She takes the darkness to make light of it in her songs. Then she wails on her guitar and uses her distinctive, gritty vocals to let it all out, and leaves it there for everyone to feel.
