Ottawa’s National Arts Centre or England’s Shrewsbury Folk Festival. A raucous rhythm section or a deft string ensemble. JP Hoe is a singer songwriter who continues to share his engaging brand of folk rock in one form or another. Over the years he’s brought the show to Australia, the US, Greenland, Europe, and coast to coast in Canada, with more on the horizon. His hometown JP Hoe Hoe Hoe Holiday Show has grown to fill the historic Burton Cummings Theatre, selling out within a few days. He’s added music to film and television soundtracks, charted on CBC Radio 2, and is a member of local super group Middle of Nowhere. His passion to create grows stronger with every project.
“Canada has produced a glut of folk musicians, all wishing to follow in the foot- steps of such trailblazing legends as Neil Young and Gordon Lightfoot. Few can reach that benchmark, but JP Hoe’s Saturday set came closer than most.” - Shropshire Star (UK)
