Wild Wild Wilderness with The Environmental Musician ***RESCHEDULED***

Green Kids –

Green Kids Inc. is a live theatre company dedicated to environmental education through performance. We explore environmental science through theatre, allowing participants to imagine, empathize and laugh, all while understanding the serious issues we face. We inspire audiences and participants to be gentler on our planet, giving them both hope and accountability through meaningful yet simple changes in daily habits, with tangible goals.  Our programming is informative, realistic, and optimistic. We emphasize community spirit and individual action, with the message being that every little bit of help is an invaluable contribution.

 Emily Thoroski -

Emily is a folk artist & wildlife biologist well known as The Environmental Musician from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Emily’s unique song writing combines her love for music and nature to help inspire people to get involved in environmental conservation. Inspired by the works of Johnny Cash and Joni Mitchell, Emily brings activism, honesty, storytelling, and imagination to her artistic style. She was captivated by the guitar at the young age of 10 and has been playing and writing songs ever since. Emily has grown as a musician by taking part in the 2021 Emerging Artist Showcase and Mentorship Program hosted by the Manitoba Arts Network and is currently taking part in the Pre-Professional Artist Program hosted by the Canadian Musicians Co-operative. An education in environmental science has led this musician to open up and speak out on important issues and creatively unravel her knowledge into the world of music.
