Know what Winnipeg has been missing until now? Argentinian Rock: The cornerstone of Latin American popular music. Introducing El Boludo Del Rock, an Argentinian Rock cover band fronted by Argentinian musician Silvio Butti.
Turn on the radio anywhere in Latin America and you’ll hear Argentinian rock. Imagine a combination of rock drumming, Latin Cumbia, and Ska. That’s what we’re talking about: High energy, you-can’t-help-but-dance kind of music.
Band leader Silvio shares: “I am driven by a profound passion for preserving and celebrating the vibrant heritage of Argentine rock. Our band stands as a tribute to the rich musical legacy of Argentina, a country whose rock scene has profoundly shaped my artistic identity.”
Their music is a celebration of the genre’s enduring spirit. By performing these beloved songs from Artist like: Los Autenticos Decadentes, La Bersuit Vergarabat, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Soda Estereo, Intoxicados, Los Ratones Paranoicos, Los Piojos, just to name a few, they not only pay homage to the rock legends of Argentina but also bridge cultural gaps, bringing the essence of Argentine rock to new audiences in Winnipeg.
