Nic is a 23 year old acoustic singer-songwriter from Dugald, MB who started singing and writing in 2011 following an inspiring art camp through his last year of high school. Since then, he has self-recorded/released an EP "Dreaming Under a Broken Tree" in 2012 followed by a full length in 2014, and a second full length in June of 2017. He has found a home opening for punk/hardcore bands around Winnipeg, and opened for Daniel Champagne in May of 2017, as well as being a Young Performer at the Winnipeg Folk Festival in 2015, 2016 and 2017. His song "Vertigo" was included in the 2017 CBC Searchlight Competition, recieving the most votes in the Top 10 of  Manitoba. Influenced by City and Colour, The Paper Kites, The Head and The Heart, Iron and Wine, and where ever else inspiration can be found, Nic writes songs from a place somewhere between hopeful and hopeless. The West End Cultural Centre's annual free, summer lunchtime concert series will once again take place every Thursday between July 12 and September 6th, from 12-1pm, at Siagon Park.
