This season has got it all! We’ve got folk, pop, country, rock, experimental, and we’ve got it all right here at Winnipeg’s best live music venue, The WECC.You are invited! Individual tickets available, as well as the multi-show Punch Card and Season Pass.

Feb 7 // Jade Turner with Burnstick and Ryan Langlois. Country, roots. Celebrating Jade’s new album Breathe. For fans of Caleigh Cardinal, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, John Prine, Don Amero, Matt Foster, Enio Morricone. !

March 15 // Dust Rhinos. Celtic trad + St Patrick’s Day shenanigans. For fans of The Pogues, The Proclaimers, The Rankin Family, The Chieftans, Spirit of the West. !

March 16th // One for Sorrow, Two for Joy, with Little Miss Higgins. A musical play.  Told through beautifully handcrafted puppets and ever engaging original music, this show unfolds the bitter-sweet story of a woman alone on the prairies of western Canada. !

March 22nd // Arrogant Worms. They’re back! Comedy and satire. This show is not part of the Season Pass or Punch Card offers.*

March 28th // Op-Ed. Rock. Humanitarian aid fundraiser for the children of Gaza. For fans of Propaghandi, Joe Strummer, Queens of the Stone Age. !

March 29 // Stephen Fearing. Singer-songwriter, folk. Gifted storyteller and musical nomad. For fans of Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Bill Bourne, Don Amero, James Keelaghan, Donovan Woods, The Sadies. !

April 5 // Rose Cousins. Roots, piano ballads. Juno winner Rose Cousins shares her newest record BRAVADO. For fans of Elton John's sad stuff, Gordon Lightfoot, Jann Arden, Natalie Imbruglia, Amelia Curran, Ron Sexsmith, Leif Vollebekk. !

April 10 // James Keelaghan. Folk heavyweight. Juno Award winning artist. For fans of Eric Bogle, Si Kahn, Ewan MacColl, Stan Rogers, The Small Glories, Woody Guthrie, Bruce Cockburn. !

April 11 // Asko.  Electronica through drum samples. Experimental electronic experience from the perspective of the drum. A storied meeting place of the drum and the rattle. For fans of Moby, Cluster Festival, Ladytron, La femme. !

April 12 // Gran Fiesta. A Manitoba-made celebration of Latinidad from Mariachi to Salsa. Spanish friendly, English Optional. Created by local musician Jaime Chinchilla. !

April 17 // Dump Babes with The Lockdown. Garage rock, pop. Trash pop that's as heavy as it is danceable, set against a backdrop of protest and anti-colonial lyrics. For fans of Pat Benatar, Garbage, Nirvana, The Slits. !

April 19 // 100 Decibels - A Deaf Mime Troupe, and Guests. A Deaf artists’ variety show. Mime, circus, dance, music! For Deaf and Hearing folks to enjoy together. !

April 25 // Miesha and the Spanks + Tinge. Punk, indie rock, riot grrrrl. Indigenous fronted. For fans of Black Belt Eagle Scout, Zoon, Bikini Kill, Mobina Galore, The Pack AD, L7, Babes in Toyland. !

April 26 // Richard Moody. Jazz. Local violin virtuoso album release. For fans of Stephen Grapelli, Joe Ventui. !

May 2 // Amanda Rheaume. Roots, folk. Anthems of underdogs. For fans of Diana Krall, Sierra Noble, Don Amero. !
